DESCRIPTION
A range of vertical metal studs combined with ceiling and floor tracks; together they form a framework which is designed to accept gypsum wallboards (plasterboards) in single or double thickness to create non-load bearing partitions. Stud and Track is available in several widths. Studs have a knurled face to assist straight screw penetration when fixing wallboards with drywall screws; thus allowing the completion of drywall partitions with the minimum amount of effort.

MANUFACTURING STANDARDS
Manufactured using roll forming to European Standard EN10346 from Hot-dipped galvanised steel.
It is usual to find that Hot dipped galvanised steel profiles &/or components may have residues of Low oil content, semi-synthetic coolant and/or multi-purpose lubricants.
HANDLING AND STORAGE
The products are secured in bundles using straps or bands, which should not be used to lift the product. As these straps and bands are under tension, they can injure eyes or other parts of their body when the tension is released. The products are transported on pallets or wooden chocks and should be offloaded using a suitable forklift truck. The products should be stored in suitable racks that will ensure stability. The product will have sharp edges therefore appropriate protective items should be worn when handling. Refer to the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended) for guidance
Respiratory Protection: Under normal conditions of use this is not required. When high levels of dust are generated by mechanical or hand sanding suitable respiratory protective equipment should be worn. AP2 dust mask may be appropriate to EN149, FFP25
Hand Protection: Suitable protective gloves should be worn when cutting both the product and the straps or bands.
Eye Protection: Suitable eye protection should be worn when using power tools or when cutting straps or bands.
Skin Protection: Suitable protective items should be worn to prevent cuts when handling the product or releasing the straps or bands. Refer to Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992 (as amended) for guidance.
