DESCRIPTION

A specially formulated, rapid setting, cement based repair mortar for use on brickwork, blockwork and concrete. Sets within 30 minutes. Conforms to EN 1504­3

USES

• For internal and external repairs to most masonry substrates; for gap and crack filling, jointing and sealing earthenware pipes and drains, patching steps and windowsills, setting and bedding WC’s, sinks, railings and posts.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

• Wet surfaces thoroughly prior to application of CEMQUIK to improve adhesion. Apply the mortar to the repair using a trowel or filling knife. The mixed mortar will remain workable for about 5­10 minutes. Do not mix more cement than can be used in 5 minutes. Once the mix starts to stiffen discard it. Do not add additional water to the mix at this stage. In warm conditions cover the repair in polythene to assist cure. CEM­QUIK can be applied up to 25mm thickness.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

• All substrates must be clean and free from dust and dirt. Friable material should be removed prior to starting work.
