USES

• Designed to enhance coloured concrete and block paving, protect from water penetration, oil or grease spillages and dirt/grime build-up. Will enhance present colour and extend the lifespan of the treated surface.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

• DRIVE ALIVE COLOUR ENHANCER is ready to use, and does not require diluting. Stir well before use and periodically during application. A test on a small inconspicuous area is recommended to determine the depth of colour required. Apply using a brush or roller. Do not over apply or allow puddling. This product will dry in 1 to 2 hours on a dry sunny day; however, cold or humid conditions will slow drying times. Do not traffic for 3-4 hours after application. Only to be used in conjunction with other BOND IT DRIVE ALIVE products. Wash hands and tools with soapy water after use. We recommend a single coat application but a maximum of two coats can be used on the first time of application. Paviors can be resealed using a single coat of COLOUR ENHANCER, if it is necessary. This can be determined by a small porosity test to the surface in an inconspicuos area. We suggest an area be subjected to a sprinkling of water via a watering can with rose attachment, if the water beads then a further application is not necessary as the seal is still intact. However, if the water is absorbed by the patio surface re-application can be performed. For patios with unknown treatments we would also suggest using the same test method to determine suitability. Adverse reactions can be caused if COLOUR ENHANCER is used over other existing sealers or treatments so should be avoided at all times. Avoid over application in all circumstances.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

• Remove any moss or lichen that may be present. Ensure the surface to be treated is free from oil, grease, dust and any other loose material that may hinder adhesion. It is recommended that a test be carried out on a small inconspicuous area to ensure the required effect is achieved. Mask off all areas not to be coloured as product cannot be removed once applied. Wear gloves and overalls to protect clothes and skin from splashes. Place the container on polythene or cardboard prior to opening to contain any drips.

LIMITATIONS

• Do not use on surfaces where water can penetrate through porous materials to affect the bond, without first carrying out remedial work. Not suitable for fixing of mirrors or sealing natural marble.
