DESCRIPTION

A premium grade integral water resistant plasticiser designed to improve resistance to water penetration both internally and externally, whilst giving all the benefits of a mortar plasticiser.

Bond It INTEGRAL WATER RESISTANT PLASTICISER: 

• Improves the plasticity of the mix making it easier to use. 
• Retards suction in multi-layer renders. 
• Reacts with free lime in the mortar to form hydrophobic crystals which block the pores, thereby improving the water resistance of the mix.
• Conforms to EN934-3

USES

• To help mortars and renders resist external and/or internal water pressures. Suitable for use on renderings, retaining walls, swimming pools, roof screeds, basement walls and all applications where water penetration is a problem.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

• Add to gauging water in the ratio of 0.25 - 0.5 litres Bond It INTEGRAL WATER RESISTANT PLASTICISER to each 25Kg bag of cement and reduce the total volume of gauging water to achieve the desired consistency. Use the appropriate sand/cement ratio for dense high quality mortar. Ensure the mortar is firmly compacted and do not over mix the mortar.

LIMITATIONS

• This is not a vapour-proofing product, therefore, a separate vapour-proof membrane is required for vapour-proof applications.
