DESCRIPTION

A one part, solvent-free, quick setting, moisture curing polyurethane adhesive specially formulated for water-resistant bonding and fast setting. D4 water resistance classification to EN204 and EN205.

USES

• Bond It PU30 RAPID WOOD ADHESIVE can be used in joinery and carpentry, for bonding garden furniture, staircases, boats, wooden constructions, sandwich panels and insulation materials. It has excellent adhesion to wood, chipboard, laminate, metals, polyurethane, expanded and extruded polystyrene foams, mineral wool, concrete, stone, bricks, gypsum boards and all traditional porous substrates. The adhesive film has very good flexibility and can resist water and frost.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

• WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES. Remove lid and cut the tip off the nozzle to an angle of 45°. Apply the adhesive onto one of the substrates, or to both if the materials are porous. Assemble the parts immediately and clamp for at least 3 hours to achieve maximum bond strength. With the addition of water to one of the surfaces, the adhesive will slightly expand, filling any irregularities in the substrate.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

• Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, oil or any other contaminants that may hinder adhesion.
