Brett StormCrate55 is a modular cellular crate designed to be used in storm water retention, attenuation and infiltration applications. These crates are designed to be easily stacked together to create a below ground storm water holding tank or to allow the infiltration of storm water into the ground around them. They can be used in trafficked and non-trafficked areas including landscaped, pedestrianised, public open spaces, playgrounds, parking, driveways and access projects.  .

Rainwater Infiltration
During heavy rainfall, the crates’ voids are designed to fill up with rainwater. StormCrate55 can be wrapped in a geotextile membrane which allows stored water to slowly seep into the surrounding ground and back into the water table.

Rainwater Attenuation
During heavy rainfall, the crates’ voids are designed to fill up with rainwater. StormCrate55 can be wrapped in an impermeable geotextile to create a sealed underground tank. The water is then controlled and slowly released into the drainage system over a longer period of time using the many outlets

Each StormCrate includes: 4x connector clips, 2x shear pin connectors and is manufactured with 12x pipe inlets allowing both 110mm pipe through the inlets and 160mm pipe through top hats
