DESCRIPTION
Chatsworth Love Your Lawn All in One Grass Seed + Lawn Fertiliser is ideal for lawn patching damaged areas of your lawn or over seeding thin areas that have high traffic or are simply under performing.
The grass seed contains a unique blend of ingredients designed to slowly release vital feed and nutrients that keep your lawn looking green and lush all season long.
WHERE CAN I USE?
- Shady areas – under trees or beneath fences or outbuildings.
- Patch filling– fill in small holes or pathces caused by pets or debris.
- High traffic areas – worn away or yellowing areas, such as walkways or children’s play areas.
- Re-vitalise – green up your lawn ready for the new season.
HOW DO I USE?
Fixing patches
Rate of application: A 500g pack will treat up to 10 patches of a 30cm diameter using 50g per patch.
- Remove any debris. Remove all dead grass by raking away and remove any weeds and their roots.
- Lightly rake the soil to prepare the patch and break up the compacted soil surface.
- Shake the pack well before opening and evenly apply Love Your Lawn All in One Grass Seed + Lawn Fertiliser to a 2mm depth.
- Water gently to moisten the mixture and activate the seed. Repeat watering action several times at 5 minute intervals. Ensure the treated patch area is kept damp for the first coupl of days. If the area dries to a light brown, add more water.

Over seeding an existing lawn
Rate of application: A 500g pack will treat up to 4m².
- Mow the area to be seeded and rake with a lawn rake to remove moss and dead grass.
- Water the lawn to make the surface moist and re-rake the top soil so that it is semi-loose.
- Shake the pack well before opening and scatter Love Your Lawn All in One Grass Seed + Lawn Fertiliser evenly over the area at a rate of 125g per m².
- Water gently to moisten the mixture and activate the seed. Repeat watering action several times at 5 minute intervals. Ensure the treated patch area is kept damp for the first couple of days. If the area dries to a light brown, add more water.
Aftercare
- Keep the area well watered using a sprinkler or hose spray with light or fine spray particularly if dry weather follows sowing.
- Cut the lawn for the first time when the grass reaches 5-8cm high. At this stage trim lightly and then for the successive one third of the growth at any time.
- Do not remove more than 30% of the grass height in one mowing,
- To ensure best results, continue watering your grass throughout the first year of establishment.
