DESCRIPTION

Fermacell Joint Filler is a synthetic-resin modified, gypsum-based joint filler for the manual filling of joints with or without joint tape. The specially developed formulation allows extremely high joint tensile strengths to be achieved. The joint filler complies with the requirements of DIN EN 13963 and is suitable for filling and smoothing over the joints of Gypsum Fibreboards according to EN 520.

It can be used on either standard square edge boards or tapered edge boards.

APPLICATION

Fermacell Joint Filler is used for the force-fit joining of Fermacell Gypsum Fibreboards with right angled or chamfered board edges, for filling the joints between Fermacell Gypsum Fibreboards with tapered edges using various reinforcing materials, and for smoothing over adhesive joints or screws and staples.

Furthermore, it can be used to smooth over joint areas and screws and staples in Fermacell gypsum fibre flooring elements, or to fill any defects or damaged areas on the substrate, e.g. holes, cracks or heads of screws and staples.
