Knauf Plasterboard Adhesive is used to directly bond plasterboard and insulating laminates to substrates where minimal loss of room space is required, allowing rapid fixing and precise adjustments to achieve a level internal lining.

Suitable substrates include: common day brickwork and blockwork, majority of concrete blockwork, no-fines concrete, metal lath and plasterboard (for laminated partitions).

This product is also referred to as Bonding Compound or Driwall/Drywall Adhesive.

Note, it should NOT be used with moisture-resistant or vapour check plasterboards.

• Use in accordance with the relevant British Standard Codes of Practice BS 8212: 1995 and BS 8000-8: 1994 workmanship.
• Do not apply in ambient temperatures less than 5°C.

APPLICATION

Apply in dabs to substrate or plasterboard; 50mm to 75mm wide and approximately 250mm long, positioned vertically at 300mm centres (approximately 50mm apart), and of a minimum of 40mm thickness to provide a substantial bond when the plasterboard is positioned and tapped back into true alignment.

Dabs should be applied horizontally between vertical rows, at floor and ceiling line to support the plasterboard ends and to form a continuous band to stop air leakage. Product workable for up to 90 minutes
