DESCRIPTION

Rustins MDF clear sealer is formulated with a water based acrylic emulsion which has a milky-white appearance whilst liquid but dries to a clear sealer. When dry it can be painted or varnished with solvent or water based products.

PREPARATION

The surface must be clean and free from wax and grease.

APPLICATION

Stir before use and apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic fibre brush, pad or sponge. If finishing with a gloss paint, edges and rebated or routed areas may require a second application of sealer. For best results, apply an undercoat after sealing and before applying final gloss paint.

RE-COATING TIME

The sealer will be touch dry in approximately 30 minutes depending upon the temperature and humidity and can be re-coated after a minimum of two hours.

CLEANING

Remove as much sealer as possible and return to this container. Brushes should then be cleaned immediately with water. If the brushes become hard, they may be cleaned with Rustins Brush Restorer or Rustins Cellulose Thinners.
