DESCRIPTION

Rustins Quick Dry Step and Tile Gloss Paint is a quick drying high performance interior and exterior paint for use on tiles, concrete and bricks. Not for use on glazed or quarry tiles.

PREPARATION

The surface must be clean, smooth, sound, dry, free from wax, dust and contaminants. Any wax polish previously applied can be removed with white spirit, steel wool and a clean rag. Existing paint, not being removed should be sanded to provide a key and cleaned with white spirit or detergent.

APPLICATION

Stir well before use. Do not thin the product. Apply evenly by brush. Two coats should be applied allowing 2-3 hours between coats in warm dry conditions. Cold damp conditions will significantly extend the drying times. Do not use below 10°C, in damp conditions or if rain is imminent.

RE-COATING TIME

The paint will be touch dry in approximately 30 minutes depending on temperature and humidity and can be re-coated after 2-3 hours.

COVERAGE

14 square metres per litre coat depending on the absorbency and texture of the surface being treated.

CLEANING

Whilst wet with white spirit or Rustin’s Brush Cleaner. Remove excess product from brushes before cleaning. Hard brushes can be cleaned with Rustin’s Brush Restorer.
