DESCRIPTION

Sika-1 is a normal setting liquid waterproofing admixture for mortar and concrete.

USES

• Sika-1 is used for waterproofing of mortars and concrete, in particular for: 
• Renders, masonry mortars and screeds
• Reinforced and unreinforced concrete
• Brick, concrete and stone substrates Indoor and outdoor applications, such as basements, swimming pools, tunnels, water tanks, manholes, culverts 
• Usage in tropical and hot climate conditions

APPLICATION INFORMATION

• Add one part of Sika-1 to 10 parts of water, which is equivalent to approximately 3 % of cement content. When using very wet sand, the ratio must be increased to 1:8 or in extreme cases 1:6. Note: Trial mixes should always be conducted to establish the exact dosage rates and water requirements per mix.
